Pusat Laut

 Located in Towale Village, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi, the Towale Marine Center (Pusat Laut) is a unique natural saltwater sinkhole formed from coral limestone situated approximately 100 meters from the coastline. Connected directly to the open ocean through subterranean cave channels, its water levels rise and fall in real-time alongside sea tides. Featuring crystal-clear turquoise waters with a diameter of about 10 meters, this destination is popular for cliff jumping, swimming, and watching local children dive for coins tossed by tourists, while local legend also attributes healing properties for skin conditions to its waters.

• Geographic Location: Situated in Towale Village, Central Banawa District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi (roughly 45–50 km from Palu City).

• Geological Formation: A circular natural coral sinkhole measuring approximately 10 meters in diameter and 5 to 7 meters in depth.

• Tidal Connection: Positioned inland about 100 meters from the beach, the hole is linked to the sea via underground channels, causing its water levels to fluctuate directly with the ocean tides.

• Cliff Jumping & Swimming: Visitors can jump from the surrounding 5-to-7-meter-high coral cliffs into exceptionally clear, deep turquoise saltwater.
