Let’s see the maps above, the maps shows the growth of the Ryemouth Village from 1995 until the present day. There are a lot of changes through the years, such as added buildings, new buildings, replaced or even demolished. Some of them are stay as it was, some changes have benefits and some are harmful.

In the year of 1995, there is a forest park near the farmland, in south we can see there are many shops and in front of it there was a fish market and a fishing port. Not far from the sea, there is a café face to face with a hotel. Let’s move to the west side, we can see at least twelve houses in housing in the housing part.

In the present day, the forest park and farmland was being demolished and replaced by the tennis and golf court. In the south, we can see the shops are also replaced by restaurants, the fish market replaced by the apartments and the fishing port was knocked down. The café and hotel is still there, but now there are cars parking lot beside the hotel. And the last in the housing part, there are more houses added, and they also built a new road to make way.

The cause and effect of video game addiction

 

Video game is an electronic game that we can play via computer, game consoles, phone or tablet. All of you probably had been played video game at least once in your lifetime. Video game is a fun and refreshing activity to do.In fact, playing video game give some benefits for us, one example from me is that playing video games help me improves my vocabularies. But when it becomes an addiction it will cause negative things.

The World Health Organization has added “Gaming Disorder” to its official list of diseases, Most video game addiction caused by multiplayer games on the internet. This type of game so addictive because they offer endless adventure and the sense of connecting with other player, players can essentially feels an opportunity to escape their problem in the real world because in video games they have many people that doesn’t know about their problem and just play with them.

Furthermore, video game addiction have many effects. It will cause the person who is addicted is isolated from their family or friends, it will bother their school or job, and mostly it caused insomnia. I have one relative that are addicted to video game, he doesn’t have a job and always sleep late at night. But what makes me so disappointed is that he have a wife and children.

So the conclusion is, video game is a good and positive things if you do it wisely. But if you play too much it will cause negative effects to you. Don’t ever do something excessively, remember that gaming disorder is a real disease so don’t underestimate it. If you or someone you know have this kind of disease ask them politely to go to the psychiatrist.

The Process of Photosynthesis

 Do plant eats? Where do they get their food? Yes, plants also have a food, and they are produces their own food with Photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a process where plants and some microorganism make substances like carbohydrates. The picture above shows us the process of Photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis start from the ground where the plants draw up the water and minerals from the ground through it roots and ends up when the sunlight gives chloroplasts energy to make sugar or food. As we can see there are three stages in photosynthesis, photosynthesis is a natural process and also it is a linear process. There are several materials that need to be added to the process, like carbon dioxide, oxygen, sunlight and water.

Photosynthesis produces oxygen for us and also food for them. The first stage as I said earlier the plants draws up the water and minerals from the ground through it roots, and then the leaves takes in carbon dioxide from the air and then release the oxygen and the last is when the sunlight gives chloroplasts energy to make sugar or food. Every stages have a strong and good relationship for each other, all stages have to be continuous to be a perfect photosynthesis.

The Advantages and Disanvantages of Online Learning

 

In March 2020, precisely in 9th of March World Health Organization officially declare Coronavirus (COVID-19) as a pandemic. The whole world drastically changes, we must stay at home to avoid the virus, no work, no concert and no school. But after a few months we start doing everything from home, especially we as a student, we study from home, or you can say it online learning. Of course, this online learning has some advantages and disadvantages.

Online learning is a solution during this pandemic, because we can’t leave our lessons and just relax at home. In fact online learning have many advantages, it’s more efficiency because you can get more source of learning than usual, it also save a lot of time you don’t need to rush for a bus, you don’t have to stuck in a traffic jam you just have to turn on your internet and start studying, and since online classes can be taken from home, you have a small change of missing the lessons.

 But since it’s a new kind of thing, not all of us get used to it and can afford it. Yes we can easily learn just from our laptop or smartphone, but for some students they can not focus when online learning, and then some students can not even afford to buy a laptop or a smartphone. Another problem is the signal and other technology issues, especially in poor country and hinterland that haven’t got the internet.

In conclusion, online learning is a good solution in this era. But some disadvantages such as, the affordability that quite difficult for many students and technology issues it's a major problem, education is very important to our generation, we can not let them have less feasible education.

Leisure activities of teenagers in Indonesia

 

After days of working or learning we definitely feel exhausted, so we must take a break in the weekend. Many people use their leisure time in many kinds of activities, such as watching TV, taking an exercise or maybe going out with friends. Let see the bar chart above, there are few categories of leisure activities of teenagers in Indonesia, there are sports, computer games, music and shopping. Overall, all the categories are dominated by the boys, especially in shopping. 

First, let see the boy’s bar, in sports it reach more than 25% and then more than 15 % in computer games, next is music almost reach 20%, the last is shopping who reach the highest among all the categories in almost 35%. As we can see, shopping is the most favourite activity in boys leisure times beating computer games, music and even sports activities.

 Second is the girl’s bar, we can see sports reach a bit more than 10%, and next is computer games who almost reach 15%, then we have music who have the same rate as the boy’s bar and also the highest, in almost 20% and the last is shopping, who unexpectedly the lowest among all of these categories.

Money is the key of happiness

 

Is money the key to happiness? Some might say that money isn’t the key of happiness, even The Beatles said “I don’t care too much for money, money can’t buy me love”. But I totally disagree with that!

First of all, yes there are many kinds of things that money just can’t buy. But let’s be realistic, money can help us to reach that happiness. How? With money, you can help other people in need, such as homeless people, the orphans or even your colleagues. Remember, almost every religion taught us to share with other people. Next, you can use money to help you maintain your daily needs, you can use money to entertain yourself, maybe by going to the mall especially in the weekend with your friends

Next thing, is my response to The Beatles’s song “Can’t buy me love”. It’s not 100% true, money can’t directly buy you love but love needs money. First, how will you feed your loved ones without money? You can’t feed your wife with rocks, or feed your children with sand. Second, money can buy the beatles’s love and happiness, they are the most famous band in history, and they got all the money they deserve. And with all their money they can feed their family, buy them the fancy things in life and donate to the others.

Taking everything into consideration, indeed there are things that money can’t buy, but you can choose how will you do with your money that will help you to reach your happiness, maybe you can save it for your future, spend it on your needs, or donate it for charity
