Leisure activities of teenagers in Indonesia

 

After days of working or learning we definitely feel exhausted, so we must take a break in the weekend. Many people use their leisure time in many kinds of activities, such as watching TV, taking an exercise or maybe going out with friends. Let see the bar chart above, there are few categories of leisure activities of teenagers in Indonesia, there are sports, computer games, music and shopping. Overall, all the categories are dominated by the boys, especially in shopping. 

First, let see the boy’s bar, in sports it reach more than 25% and then more than 15 % in computer games, next is music almost reach 20%, the last is shopping who reach the highest among all the categories in almost 35%. As we can see, shopping is the most favourite activity in boys leisure times beating computer games, music and even sports activities.

 Second is the girl’s bar, we can see sports reach a bit more than 10%, and next is computer games who almost reach 15%, then we have music who have the same rate as the boy’s bar and also the highest, in almost 20% and the last is shopping, who unexpectedly the lowest among all of these categories.

Money is the key of happiness

 

Is money the key to happiness? Some might say that money isn’t the key of happiness, even The Beatles said “I don’t care too much for money, money can’t buy me love”. But I totally disagree with that!

First of all, yes there are many kinds of things that money just can’t buy. But let’s be realistic, money can help us to reach that happiness. How? With money, you can help other people in need, such as homeless people, the orphans or even your colleagues. Remember, almost every religion taught us to share with other people. Next, you can use money to help you maintain your daily needs, you can use money to entertain yourself, maybe by going to the mall especially in the weekend with your friends

Next thing, is my response to The Beatles’s song “Can’t buy me love”. It’s not 100% true, money can’t directly buy you love but love needs money. First, how will you feed your loved ones without money? You can’t feed your wife with rocks, or feed your children with sand. Second, money can buy the beatles’s love and happiness, they are the most famous band in history, and they got all the money they deserve. And with all their money they can feed their family, buy them the fancy things in life and donate to the others.

Taking everything into consideration, indeed there are things that money can’t buy, but you can choose how will you do with your money that will help you to reach your happiness, maybe you can save it for your future, spend it on your needs, or donate it for charity
